I met ADRI in the early 90's. It was a small Association, whose original interest was the promotion of the Costa Rican Micro-businessman. First as a consultant and later as an officer, I had the opportunity to see the Association grow during nearly 20 years of its 24 of existence. The challenges have been many and have been taken with seriousness and professionalism. Aware that the key to success of any entity is its financial sustainability, the Association was prepared to grow. It was administratively strengthened, and made every effort to be at the forefront in the use of technology and, above all, it built alliances with financial institutions both locally and internationally that have become the main source of income. ADRI is in a continuous process of development and now ranks as one of the most important entities to service the sector of micro, small and medium businesses.

For me it was very gratifying to accompany the Association in this process and to cooperate, to the extent of my possibilities, in locating it in the place that with a lot of merit it occupies today.
